This Privacy Policy describes how Vanta Luxe Villas LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit villamontecito.com (the "Site") or contact us about the property. It applies together with our Cookie Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide to us. When you fill out a contact or booking inquiry form, email us, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, requested dates, number of guests, and the content of your message. Booking inquiries and reservations submitted through the booking widget on the Site are processed by OwnerRez, our reservation management provider, under its own privacy policy. We do not collect payment information through the Site — payments are handled by OwnerRez or by the listing platform you book through (such as Vrbo or Airbnb).
Information collected automatically. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (deployed via Google Tag Manager) to collect usage data such as pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the Site. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you. No analytics data is collected unless you accept analytics cookies — see our Cookie Policy for details.
Information we do not collect. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, health data, or financial account credentials) through the Site, and we do not use the Site to profile visitors or make automated decisions about them.
2. How we use your information
We use personal information to respond to your inquiries and manage booking requests; to communicate with you before, during, and after a stay; to operate, secure, and improve the Site; to understand how visitors use the Site (analytics, with your consent); and to comply with legal obligations, including tax and lodging regulations.
Where consent is the applicable legal basis — for example, for analytics cookies — you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: service providers who help us operate the Site and manage bookings (such as our website platform (Webflow), Google (Tag Manager and Analytics), email providers, and OwnerRez, our reservation management provider), who may process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards; listing platforms you choose to book through (such as Vrbo or Airbnb), which act under their own privacy policies; professional advisers (such as accountants or lawyers) where needed; and public authorities where required by law, such as lodging registries or tax authorities.
Some providers (for example, Google) may process data on servers in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
4. How long we keep your information
We keep inquiry and correspondence data for as long as reasonably needed for business purposes, typically no more than 2 years. Booking and billing records are kept as long as required by applicable tax and commercial law. Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months.
5. Your rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion or correction of your personal information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA), and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise them, contact us at info @ vantaluxvillas.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.
Mexico residents (LFPDPPP)
If you are in Mexico, you have rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and objection (ARCO rights) under the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, as well as the right to revoke consent and to limit the use or disclosure of your data. To exercise these rights, send a request to info @ vantaluxvillas.com including your name, proof of identity, and a description of the data or right concerned. We will respond within the statutory timeframe. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may contact the Mexican data protection authority (INAI).
